Rocking and rolling

Well November sure has flown by. It has been a while since I posted. Between Hurricane Sandy, our fall break, and now Thanksgiving, needless to say things have been a little busy. What we have managed to cover during this short month was:

• finished our unit on plate tectonics
• working on a mini review of volcanoes and rocks 

This week our review will focus on rocks. To review the vocab from last year, we modeled the rock cycle by completing a game where students were a mineral traveling through the rock cycle. For homework, use the info from the game to create either a comic or short story showing your journey through the rock cycle. Check the bottom of my homework page for info from class if you need help.
