On the morning of October 8, 2014, you will have the chance to witness a lunar eclipse. Totality (this is when the entire moon will be covered by the moon) is scheduled to occur at 6:25am. Lunar eclipses are safe to look at, unlike a solar eclipse. The color of the moon will depend on different factors. The weather is looking a little iffy for our area. So if you are awake by then, go take a peek and see if the skies are clear.
