To get us thinking about earthquakes, we watched a video in class that compared earthquakes that struck the cities of Kobe and Northridge. Surprisingly there were many similarities through these 2 catastrophic events. Thankfully, seismologists have been able to learn from these 2 quakes in order to make things safer for future activity.
Reminder ~ All students should have their notebooks set up by now. We spent a class period going over what should be on each page. If you need any help in getting your ISN together, please see me ASAP! I will be asking students whose notebooks are not set up to visit me during lunch for an ISN tune up. It also important to bring your book with you every day.
