Today we had a visit from everyone's favorite spud, Mr. Potato-head. The purpose was not to crave french fries *yum* but to practice making good, descriptive observations. The challenge was to write enough details so that your spud could easily be found among the class. However, this did prove difficult for some due to unclear wording or sketches from classmates. Tomorrow, we will have some more practice working with observations while we refine our inference making skills. We will do this by watching raisins "dance" and trying to explain why they do so.
There is no homework this evening!
